Which password am I supposed to use in Access Console? Neither of them work.

Posted on October 1, 2019

I have a password for my Digital Ocean account and when I created a Ghost droplet I created another admin password. When I go to Access Console, the console asks me for a password but it rejects both of them. Which one should I be using?

Your DigitalOcean account password is used to login to your DigitalOcean cloud admin panel where you can launch new droplets.

The ghost admin password you set is used to login to the ghost admin panel.

The password for the console is your Droplet’s root password, which was emailed to you, or if you are using SSH keys then there is no password set.
