I’ve changed the php.ini to allow for larger uploads into my wordpress site, but it still isn’t working. How can I fix this?

after saving changes, restart apache, php-fpm, or whatever is running your php stuff

Be sure you edit the proper php.ini file. There is also a cli and cgi php configuration.

I can’t get this to work myself.

    I tried:

    1. Adding a php.info file in wp-admin, then navigating to www.<my-site>.com/wp-admin/php.info, then editing the file listed as Loaded Configuration File: /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini.
    2. Editing the result of php -i | grep “Loaded Configuration File”: /etc/php5/cli/php.ini
    3. Editing wp-config.php, as per some WP threads on the internet.
    4. Editing .htaccess, as per some WP threads on the internet.

I’ve restarted apache each time. Kindly help!
