I have been building a website for a client in work, and wanted to do the frontend at my own time on my own machine. But for some reason, when I pull down the code through Gitbucket in Sourcetree, I hit a bit of a brick wall.
I use Valet/Mariadb/nginxs, and the home page and the sample page (the only pages setup) load up, but no images which have been uploaded through WP on my dev machine in work are shown. If I then try to access wp-admin, I hit a 404 error.
I don’t really know where to go anymore, as it’s stumped myself and my coworker, as the development environments are (what we thought) identical, and the code I have pulled down works perfectly fine on my other machine.
I’ve checked the DB, and the links are right, and the DB is setup the same as in work… Is there a config somewhere which links a specific machine? This is the only thing I can think of…

Could it be the Site URL in the Wordpress database redirecting the requests to another URL that is triggering the 404? Check out this article:
