Why google shows redirect error for my http site but not for my https?

Hi, I noticed in google search console that google shows a redirect error for my http site but not for my https. This is actually what I want to do. I, also, have installed letsencrypt for ubuntu (as per digital oceans’ tutorial) for my nginx installation in a way that all http requests are re-directed to https. What am I doing wrong? Is this a dns issue? These are my dns records: AAAA/, A/, NS/ and so on. My website is just a simple HTML page in /var/www/. There is also a sitemap in it that only indexes https pages. Is this normal? Or my setup is not complete?

Can you share the exact error that you are getting?

The redirects should not be related to your DNS setup. They are most likely related to the HTTP to HTTPS redirect rule that you have in your Nginx.

Can you share your Nginx server block here too so I could see the redirect rules that you have in place?
