Droplet is simply stuck at creating, I even opened a ticket (1252401) but the support is too lazy to even reply. What is this issue?

  • No one but support can help you with a question like this. Have some patience, or try to create a new droplet again.

  • its very simple to destroy the stuck droplet, few minutes ago i encountered same problem , after thinking for a few seconds a got the idea to fix this.
To destroy the droplet which is stuck in creation mode, click the droplet and move to destroy tab and right click on destroy button and select inspect Elements and remove/delete the "disabled" text from the destroy button class which should be highlighted.

if you did not understand tell me i can create a video for that.

We're sorry you encountered this problem. I've reviewed things and can provide a bit of clarification on what happened.

  • It appears that during the time you encountered this problem we had an active issue that required us to disable the processing of droplet events. This was reported on our status page at the time to alert users to delayed creates and other events. If you encounter a problem in the control panel it's recommended to check if there is an active reported issue occurring. All status notifications can be found here and are also tweeted out on Twitter by the @DOStatus account.

  • Our team is working on improving response times and we have experienced less than ideal wait times recently. As we provide free support for all users regardless of how much they spend we do see a lot of volume in tickets as compared with some other providers who charge separately for support services. At the time you opened this ticket, average response times were about 6 hours. You reported this issue as resolved just over 4 hours after opening it and as you reported it resolved, our team closed the ticket once it hit the top of the queue.

  • If you are ever looking for immediate information on an issue you are encountering you can reach us directly on Twitter or Facebook. These platforms are monitored 24/7 and you can immediately get in touch with us there at any time. This is possible because we do not offer full support services through these channels. This means that we cannot share details and specifics of your account here but we can assist with technical questions, configuration and troubleshooting as well as provide details on current widespread issues like this one that impacted you.

We're sorry that your experience with us during this issue did not meet your expectations. We are always working to improve our services and support for all our users.
