Why is the bandwidth so slow?

It is taking a very long time to spin up an instance, take a snapshot and even destroy a droplet. It is also taking an extremely long time to get to the tutorial section. In fact, my browser isn’t even able to connect to the tutorial section which is a little aggravating because I’m so busy with a million other things going on trying to run my campaign that I don’t have the time to wait for the extremely slow bandwidth of DO and the lack of ability to get to the tutorial section.

The least DO could do is acknowledging the problem. I haven’t found any thread about slow snapshot creation where anyone from DO has replied. The most effective way to disgruntle customers is to make them feel you don’t give a shit.

I have seen some time it takes 5 or 6 mins to create a Droplet, more than an hour to take a snapshot !!

But most of the time, couple of mins to take snapshot and yes, a min to create droplet…

But never faced issue with forum, apart from those numerous spams !!!

In regards to the spin up, snapshots, or destroying of a droplet; if you are having issues you need to place a help desk ticket. There have been similar issues the past couple of days and I have seen questions related to these topics with other users.

With the community tutorials and questions I have been on this site all weekend and have had no issues at all. More than likely it is your connection or computer that is causing the issue.
