Question

Will my bandwidth-speed also improve when I upgrade from a 512MB droplet to 1GB?

When I do a speedtest it’s currently around 350megabit down & 120 megabits upload

Can I ever get 1 gigabit upload?

Just wondering

Thanks, Have a nice day

The droplets run on shared full-duplex 1 Gbit/s port per hypervisor. Keep in mind that latency drastically affects speed. Try using https://github.com/sivel/speedtest-cli, the results should be close to 1 Gbit/s as long as the server you’re testing against is close to your droplet.
