Hello,
I have been working on a wiki using the mediawiki one-click install.
I was following step 4 of the instructions on how to change the logo here: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-use-the-mediawiki-one-click-application-image
I followed these steps but now I cannot load my wiki: “the (IP) page isn’t working (IP) is currently unable to handle this request. Http Error 500”
Now it is quite likely I messed up some other setting in the localsettings.php on accident.
So my question is: If I put a new localsettings.php file in there will I lose all of my progress? or is this file only settings?
I am very new to this and I apologize if this is a stupid question.

Your LocalSettings.php is just the settings, all pages you create and other data is stored in the database. You’ll need to make sure that this file includes the correct database information or MediaWiki will not be able to load any of that information and you will encounter errors.
