i have a very strange issue, migrating Managed Database with Wordpress.
i can connect locally on the server just fine to the database, but wordpress trows and error, saying it can;t connect.
i changed the host:port usernames and passwords accordingly, and i’m able to connect wht the same credentials using the command line client.
anyone having some idea how to debug this?

As you are able to connect from your server to the Managed MySQL database cluster, this indicates that the problem is not related to the trusted sources.
In this case, it is most likely the problem is related to the password encryption. What I would recommend here is to create a new user with
mysql_native_password
and use it in yourwp-config.php
