I updated my WordPress sites from 3.8 to 3.8.1 yet I am still have a message at the top of the dashboard saying that 3.8.1 is available and that I should upgrade. The upgrade to 3.8.1 indicated that it was successful so I am confused why I continue to see this upgrade message. I selected the Check Again button yet I still see the WordPress Update message.
Any ideas?

I just went thru the same thing. I think it is a bug in the WP update script. Clicking on the update button again or just refreshing the page should fix it.
