Worpdress website getting crashed whne visitor load increases

We have a simple word press website having articles and some videos , though we have enough bandwidth with 2GB RAM, whenever real time traffic reaches around 1500 visitors website get crashed and doesn’t load.
Please help if someone can test it: https://timenational.com
Is this issue with word press or server related?

You need to make sure that your website is well optimised:

  • Remove any plugins that are not being used
  • Try to reduce the number of requests that you have for each page
  • Use good website and server caching
  • Maybe implement a CDN solution as well

Of course adding some additional RAM might still be beneficial.

Those are just some basic suggestions.
