I created a VPN with Digital Ocean/Ubuntu 18.04/OpenVPN. The VPN works fine and it made my NAT go from strict to moderate (good). Everything on the internet works except Warframe. I can’t connect to the game over VPN. I get a bunch of access denied when trying to connect to api.warframe.com through my Digital Ocean VPN. My default internet gives “An error occurred while processing your request.” which means that the connection went through (it’s an API server so it isn’t supposed to load anything in particular). But on the VPN it never loads and just says access denied. My log spits out other errors, namely 403 forbidden:
HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden Server: AkamaiGHost Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/html Content-Length: 315 Expires: Sat, 12 Oct 2019 03:42:56 GMT Date: Sat, 12 Oct 2019 03:42:56 GMT Connection: keep-alive
Could not get request /origin/229E169C/index.txt.lzma (status: 403)
I’m wondering if anyone can try to connect to api.warframe.com through Digital Ocean or through a VPN running through Digital Ocean, and let me know if it connects and gives you that message or if it doesn’t let you on at all like me. I’m thinking that either DigitalOcean or Warframe is blocking the other for some reason. If this is the case, is there anyway to get around this? If anyone can try this/has any info on this it’d be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hello, @cyjacob
Have you tried contacting Warframe’s support to check if the IP address of the droplet/VPN is not blocked on their end, because the errors refers to such thing?
connection to api.warframe.com from a Digital Ocean droplet seems completely fine.
