You need to contact Support and ask them to pre-charge the card, so you have credit on your account to last you X months.
It’s very important to have credit on your account. Once your balance goes below zero and the system cannot charge more money, then your account is suspended (which means all droplets goes offline) for a couple of weeks and then permanently deleted.
But talk to Support - they will help you - you can create a ticket via the control panel.
