Add prepaid credit without paypal

Hi, My credit card is about to expire and I will not have a new one for a few months. Is there a way that I can add credit to my digitalocean profile and make any payments from that credit when I dont have credit card. Note that I am don’t have a paypal account either. If there is no way to do that, what will happen to my droplet if I can’t make the payment.

You need to contact Support and ask them to pre-charge the card, so you have credit on your account to last you X months. It’s very important to have credit on your account. Once your balance goes below zero and the system cannot charge more money, then your account is suspended (which means all droplets goes offline) for a couple of weeks and then permanently deleted. But talk to Support - they will help you - you can create a ticket via the control panel.

Hello there,

We currently do not accept prepaid cards. You can try adding your prepaid card as a funding method on a Paypal account. If Paypal allows this, you could then use your Paypal account to fund your DigitalOcean account. Otherwise, you’d need to add a different card to your account.
