Is there any way to disable the Reset Root password feature in the digitalocean control panel? I have ample confidence that I will never need the feature and it seems like a needless weak link in security for me.

Unfortunately at the moment there is no way to create a custom made control panel interface. The feature is available for every DigitalOcean account in case someone need to reset their droplet’s root password. In my opinion this feature is one of those that you never know when you’ll need so it’s good to have it available in case you ever need to reset the password of your droplet.
