better option than FTP and beginners guide

Hi,

So what I did for now:

  1. install and set up server
  2. install Fail Ban security for server
  3. install Apache
  4. install mysql
  5. Install PHP and PHP modules

So what next to do ?

We have around 50 Wordpress websites. I would like to start to use Git so can you please tell me what next to do and what tutorial to follow.

I want to use some fast deploy process. Coz for now I was using FTP and its painful to work on local and then move the site to our subdomain to show to the client and the move to client domain.

Please help with some best solution. Thanks

try learning linux terminal

cd /var/www/sub1.domain.com
git clone https://github.com/WordPress/WordPress.git

etc might save you the time you used to use ftp uploading
