I would like to have a slave from my mysql managed database in a droplet in order to check some functions in test mode before to put them in production. Is it possible? Thanks

Hi there
Thanks for reaching out to DigitalOcean Support.
I understand you want to create slave on a droplet for a managed database cluster. I want to inform you that this feature is not available to replicate the data outside managed database. Alternatively, you can create nodes in managed database like standby nodes for high availability feature and read only node to process queries and return results but do not want to make changes to the database itself. For more details, please refer below link: https://www.digitalocean.com/docs/databases/#cluster-configuration
Please let us know if you have additional questions/concerns. We would be happy to assist you.
