Can I use "extundelete"?

I tried / dev / vda1 and it didn’t work. I need to recover a folder with over 3000 photos that I unintentionally deleted and I have no backup.

Hello, @EnzoNagata

You can use extundelete in order to try to recover some of your data. I know that few people were able to recover some part of their data on their droplets based on their feedback while using extundelete, but of course there is not guarantee that this work 100% all the time.

If you’ve already tried and you’re unable to recover the files, I’m afraid there is not much you can do if there are no backups available for you to restore.

Regards, Alex
