Can't install or update plugins

Posted on October 2, 2019

I keep getting this message when trying to install or update my plugins:

Connection Information

I’ve updated the permissions of the var/www folder but still, nothing is working.

What else could I try?

Hello,

I would recommend trying to add this to wp-config.php:

define( 'FS_METHOD', 'direct' );

If this does not work then it is almost certain that it is a problem with your permissions. What are the exact permissions that you currently have?

Regards, Bobby
