Can't upload images to Ghost blog

Posted on November 14, 2014

Started a Ghost blog using the preset application and when I attempt to upload an image it will fail. Just gives a ‘Something Wrong’.

Checked the nginx config file for upload size and the permissions to the uploads folder and all seem fine.

Any ideas?

this just reared its ugly head again and has nothing to do with permissions… it is talked about in depth at the following link https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost/issues/11129#issuecomment-559852184 does anyone know what we can do with this info to keep it running.

this seemed to happen after DigitalOcean sent out an email stating

Intel released a statement regarding Machine Check Error Avoidance on Page Size Change.
We have rolled out mitigation efforts across our entire fleet and are writing to let you know
that our platform is secure and your Droplets and data will not be impacted and you do not
need to take any action.

I have the same problem, can not upload images. It seems since i made the update (ghost 3.2) I checked the folder permissions /images and they are fine (user ghost). So the problem is not the permissions.
