The keystore i have has different common name for issuer and owner. Can I change it to hostname of the server?

To change the Common Name in the SSL Certificate, you’ll need to generate a new CSR using the hostname and go through the issue/installation process again.
You can’t change the Common Name once an SSL Certificate has been issued.
