If I rezize CPU and ram of my droplet this change is temporarily. But if I later also need more storage can I increase the disk while staying on the same plan? So for example I have a Droplet on the standard 1 vCPU 1 GB Ram 25 GB Disk plan. If I upgrade to the 1 vCPU 2 GB Ram 25 GB Plan can I later also permanently increase the disk to 50gb?

You can upgrade your Droplet at any time via your DigitalOcean control panel. However for data integrity reasons, DigitalOcean doesn’t provide the ability to downsize a Droplet through the control panel, but you can still switch to a smaller Droplet using common migration strategies as described in the official documentation here:
