Hi,
Today I noticed that, I am not able to create a Fedora 42 or Fedora 41 droplet with the smallest option (10gb space). It is showing, “Cannot create a droplet with a smaller disk than the image.” I noticed that I am able to create the droplet with 25gb hard disk.
Earlier I could create Fedora in 10gb space.
What has gone wrong? Is there a way to fix this?
Thanks

Hi Azeem,
This is quite interesting, that message means the Fedora 41 and 42 images are now larger than 10 GB, so they won’t fit on the smallest Droplet size anymore. That’s why you can only create them starting from 25 GB disks.
If you think this might be an error, the best option is to open a ticket with DigitalOcean support so they can confirm whether it’s expected behavior or an issue with the Fedora image:
