Hello all
Very inexperienced in server administration. I have a droplet with 60GB of disk space and an attached volume with an extra 500GB to store the Bitcoin blockchain. If I now try to run sudo apt-get upgrade it complains that I have used all my disk space.
I ran df -h which shows me that my droplet space is all used up but I have over 400GB left on the volume (the blockchain hasn’t fully synced yet).
Did I supposed to install the blockchain on the volume specifically and preserve the droplet storage so I can update packages etc? I just assumed a volume would increase the total storage space and then not need to concern myself with it.

Could you share the output of the df -h command here?
You might have to clear up some space from your / root partition in order to be able to complete the upgrade.
