CentOS 6.5 x32 with 512mb ram
i am trying to install cpanel dns only. i run yum install perl
then
[root@dns1 ~]# cd /home [root@dns1 home]# wget -N http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/latest -bash: wget: command not found
whats going on?

It seems like yum is missing as a package. As an alternate you can use curl but I would assume that this package is also missing, so make sure to install them both:
- yum install wget
- yum install curl
Then download the install script using yum or curl
- wget http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/latest
or
- curl http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/latest
