I’m trying to create a droplet from a backup, and I can see my list of backups. However, if I select a different region for the new droplet than the region where the backup is stored, I can no longer select the backup.
Is it possible (or will it soon be possible) to create a droplet from a backup stored in a different region?

@Joel:

In the “Images” menu, click on the icon to the right of your backup:

http://i.imgur.com/r9dKhee.png

Now the backup is available as a snapshot. Now click the globe icon for the snapshot to select a region to transfer it too:

http://i.imgur.com/re5m9vT.png
Thanks! How do I:

- convert the backup to a snapshot?
- distribute it to the other regions?
You can convert the backup to a snapshot and distribute it to the other regions for deployment that way.
