Hi there @vitormc1,

I have checked in with our support/abuse folks regarding this – yes, we can confirm these emails that you are getting are legitimate!

Hope that helps!
- Matt.

Thanks.

These emails are saying I have copyright files (movies, music, etc) stored in my droplet, but I can’t find the mentioned file.

I already try to search using commands like find, locate and grep using ssh, but can’t find.

Is possible request the path of file mentioned?

Or have other way to search the file?

  • Hi there,

If you’re unsure about these notices, the best thing to do would be reply back to them so that the abuse team can assist you further in locating the content in question and ensuring it is removed.

    Hope that helps!
    - Matt.
