Does the x TB transfer assigned to a droplet reset each month after payment?

I’m new here and these are some questions I have. Does the x TB transfer assigned to a droplet reset each month after payment? And also, when creating a droplet there is an option to add a block of storage. Is the transfer from that storage deducted from the one assigned to the droplet or it’s handled separately?

I will recommend you to check our official documentation for the billing of the DigitalOcean products.

Your monthly transfer allowance depends on your monthly Droplet usage; for every hour a Droplet exists, it accrues transfer allowance.

Droplets are billed per hour up to a maximum of 672 hours per month (28 days multiplied by 24 hours). For every hour the Droplet exists during the month, whether it’s powered on or not, it will earn 1/672 of its total allowance up to that limit. Once it’s been active for 672 hours, it has reached its full bandwidth allowance.

The transfer between your Droplet and Block Storage is free of charge. Anything that happens on the local network (Block Storage and “Private Networking”) is free of charge. So it’s actually the Droplet that reads the data (from Block Storage) and serves it to the visitor. That’s why transfers only apply to the Droplet.
