I own mywebsite.com through Google Domains.
I am attempting to setup a Wordpress Openlitespeed Ubuntu Droplet with DigitalOcean. (I’m using this process - https://docs.litespeedtech.com/cloud/wordpress/#quick-start )
When I attempt to setup the server and use my domain mywebsite.com, I get an error in the console that reads “mywebsite.com inaccessible, please verify.”.
When I visit the domain in a browser, it redirects to thirdpartywebsite.com (I have no affiliation or familiarity with this website).
When I attempt to “Add a Domain” to my project and use mywebsite.com, I get an error that states “Domain already in use”. It seems like it was possibly hacked and being pointed to a site using DigitalOcean.
I own this domain.
How to I verify that I own the domain and take it back from the person who hacked it or is redirecting unintentionally?
