Is it posible to use a subdomain (Ex.: subdomain.domain.com) in Digital Ocean hosting but still use my domain (Ex.: domain.com) in Firebase Hosting?

I had a very similar use-case, where I was using Cloudflare for managing the DSN and use a sub-domain with DO droplet.
I did something like this:
Type: A
Name: subdomain
IPv4 address: <IP address>
TTL: auto
Proxy status: DNS only
