Domain IP in control panel does not match droplet IP
I may not have set this up correctly from the start though everything seems to work properly:
I have a website hosted elsewhere.
I created a subdomain there and made an A record in my webhost CPanel pointing to my droplet’s IP number. All is good.
At some point I destroyed that droplet and made a new one.
I edited the A record for the subdomain (at my webhost CPanel) to reflect the new droplet’s IP number. All is good.
I just now noticed the in my Digital Ocean control panel the subdomain is listed but “directs to” points to a different IP number (I think the old droplet’s) though the subdomain still works fine (it’s to a Jitsi installation here).
Does this matter? Did I do something wrong?
