Hello Alex,
Thank you for your comprehensive answer.
“WordPress needs a domain name in order to complete the installation”; would the existent IP Address of the Domain matter (domainx.com A Record) during the installation (which is different than the Ubuntu Server IP Address)?
That is because I won’t be able to tell what is the Droplet’s IP Address (that the Droplet will be established as a WordPress One-Click server, with a specific domain name of a certain IP Address / A Record), until the Droplet is created. Would it be an issue to change the utilized Domain name after the creating process to match the Droplet’s IP, only via the DNS Zone.
Or there are other steps needs to be taken through SSH into the server and update the new IP Address?
That is because when I am to add or assign a Hostname to the server in the Droplet’s setup page before clicking ‘create’, it will be, let’s say ubuntu.domainx.com, and that is to match my website domain name domainx.com and IP Address (with an already established IP Address, that will differ from the Server’s IP Address when the creation process is completed)
Do you see where I am trying to get at? 2 different IP Addresses will be there as the Ubunty Server is ready:
1- Hostname (ubuntu.domainx.com) IP Address (which includes the website / domain name (domainx.com) IP Address.
2- Droplet IP Address, which will be what ever Digital Ocean assigns to the WordPress Server.
Thanx
