Is your Droplet currently running? This means that the Droplet is both turned on from the control panel and is responsive from the web console. YES 2.) Does the Droplet’s IP address respond to a network request (ping)? If you are not sure how, you can run the command “ping xx.xx.xx.xx” from your local terminal or command prompt, inserting your Droplet IP address. YES 3.) Does your domain name respond to ping? Simply run the same ping test like above substituting the domain name used on your Droplet/Website (if applicable). NO If #2 works but this does not, then that might indicate an issue with DNS resolution/configuration.

4.) Does the Droplet respond to SSH connection attempts (either from a terminal or PuTTY)? If so, are you able to log in? Do you get any error messages in the attempt? On Putty: Network error: software connection abort With SSH: ssh_exchange_identification: read:connetio time out 5.) Are you able to access your website or application from within your web browser? Hi @soportefuoncologica,

Have you confirmed the domain in question is actually pointed to the droplet? If it isn’t this will explain the issues you are having. To point it to droplet, you’ll need to go the where your DNS is being managed, you can see that by checking out your Nameservers. From there point your root and www A record to the droplet.

In the meantime, you should be able to connect with Putty using the droplet’s IP address rather than the domain.
