Hello,

Indeed as X40C suggested try running sudo apt-key update and sudo apt-get update and then run the sudo apt-get install mysql-server command.

Or another approach would be to use the MySQL APT Repository:

wget https://repo.mysql.com//mysql-apt-config_0.8.9-1_all.deb
sudo dpkg -i mysql-apt-config_0.8.1-1_all.deb
sudo apt update
sudo apt install mysql-server
sudo systemctl start mysql
