enabling virtual host files

Posted on July 15, 2021

I’m adding a subdomain to example.com using https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-set-up-apache-virtual-hosts-on-ubuntu-18-04 as a guide.

If I have the following virtual host files

example.com.conf & example.com-ssl.com sub.example.com.conf & sub.example.com-ssl.com

do I need enable all files i.e.

sudo a2ensite example.com.conf sudo a2ensite example.com-ssl.conf sudo a2ensite sub.example.com.conf sudo a2ensite sub.example.com-ssl.conf
