I’m new to DO and running my own server, but thanks to the excellent DO tutorials I have a droplet running a lamp setup. Have a CMS script, Jamroom, installed and working. Jamroom sends emails on events etc. but this install doesn’t seem to do it. Should emails work by default or is there extra things I need to do (install Postfix, say)? Thanks

Installing an MTA usually fixes this sort of problems, I recommend postfix but you’re free to install any other MTA you like (such as sendmail).
