Hello,
Just wanted to let you guys know there is a problem redeeming the student developer coupon offered by Github for digitalocean credit. I get the error “Sorry, this promo is not available for your account at this time” I’m thinking this is because I’ve already redeemed a coupon ($10) a few weeks ago.
Is this planning on being fixed? At this point my best option is to create a new account.

If you navigate to your billing page you should be able to see a link which says Apply Promo Code.
In order to activate your package you need to get your personal unique code and also to add a valid payment method to your DigitalOcean’s account (credit/debit card) or add some funds using PayPal.
Please note that you have taken advantage of a different promo code at some prior point each account is only allowed to use one promo code during it’s lifetime.

When I redeemed my $100 credit from the GitHub Student Pack, I had already redeemed a promotional code before. On the page that you got your code from, there should also be a link that takes you straight to the page that you can redeem your promotional code on.
There are rules against creating multiple accounts. I think it’s better to open a ticket and try communicating with an actual Customer Service agent than violating the rules.
