Hello,
Does any one know, how long it takes for transfer to complete when I transfer a domain name from Godaddy account to BigRock account. Keeping in mind, both of them are two separate ICANN registeter !!
Also, by default, what DNS record the new registrant set ?? Will it copy the details from Godaddy or it would set its own records and I manually have to change those once BigRock gains control and grants me access to modify details…

Generally when you transfer a domain between providers the nameservers you have currently set are retained as those details are sent by the registrar. A transfer of a domain between registrars should take around 24-48 hours but this may depend on whether a registrar initiates the transfer immediately when it is requested.
