Hey, are credits used instead of bank card?

The question itself may not say what I’m asking the way I want.

So Hi, I’m a student who signed up to the github student program thingy to get my $50 credit. My dad is worried that anything I buy will charge his card instead of the credit and that I can’t cancel my billing.

Hi there @lasago,

Yes - credits on your account should be used before your card is ever charged. Please keep in mind though, once you’ve used all your credits up, your card will then be charged.
