Posted on February 14, 2017

Hi everybody in the community

I have a domain name with multiple subdomains (about 40 SD), and i want to change location of my domain and each of its SD.

I want to know if is there a way to upload a file zone to my domain name in order to not manually change ip location one by one.

best regards.

Unless you’re running your own customized DNS configuration (i.e. running your own DNS servers), you’d need to make the changes by hand either via the Networking page of the DigitalOcean CP or via your domain registrar.

That being said, DigitalOcean does provide an API, which you have at your disposal. If you’re using DigitalOcean to manage your domains, you could use their API and loop through the records using the API and make changes that way as well.
