You can find my latest tutorial on How To Setup a Teamspeak Server here

Little bit stuck, with getting TS to start on system boot.

When i get to update-rc.d ts3server defaults
I get "insserv: warning: script 'ts3server' missing LSB tags and overrides".

I noticed in TutsTeach video he also gets this warning but it still adds it to the system startup.
However i don’t get this and when i try to "service ts3server start"
I get"Failed to start ts3server.service: Unit ts3server.service failed to load: No such file or directory."

The symlink link is green when i check it.

  • Strange, under Ubuntu 14 this error doesn’t appear and everything works fine. But when i try again with an Ubuntu 15 image i get insserv: warning: script 'teamspeak' missing LSB tags and overrides error. Any ideas? or any downside to running 14 over 15?

    • Not sure if you got everything working already, or if you need any more support. But I recently created a tutorial about how to setup teamspeak in the most efficient way (my opinion). This should work both on OS Ubuntu 15 and 14 as well. Please tell me if you need any more support with this.
