How To Create a Minecraft Server on Ubuntu 18.04Hey there, I’m on Ubuntu 18.04, and was wondering how I can update Minecraft. The guide downloads the old version, how can I upgrade it to the newest edition?
Thank you!

Hi there @chenal,
What you need to do is visit the Minecraft’s Website and copying the link that says Download minecraft_server.X.X.X.jar, where the X’s are the latest version of the server.
Then you should be able to follow the steps as normal and just change the minecraft_server_1.15.2.jar with the number that you’ve got from Minecraft’s website.
Regards, Bobby
