How do I apply the github eduction pack promo before my paypal account is charged?

Hello, all

If you navigate to your billing page you should be able to see a link which says Apply Promo Code.

In order to activate your package you need to get your personal unique code and also to add a valid payment method to your DigitalOcean’s account (credit/debit card) or add some funds using PayPal.

Please note that you have taken advantage of a different promo code at some prior point each account is only allowed to use one promo code during it’s lifetime.

A valid billing profile is required for all new accounts, even those using the GitHub education pack. There are two ways to activate your account:

1.) Make an initial paypal payment of $5. This credit will be applied to your account along with the $50 from the GitHub pack.

2.) Add a credit card to your account. The card would not be charged until the education pack credit has been used.
