I’m adding a domain to my droplet, the domain is currently hosted in GoDaddy. I know I have to change the nameservers in GoDaddy to NS1.DIGI… The only problem is that when I change the nameservers in GoDaddy, my emails which are hosted in Gmail are not able to receive or send emails. Even though the MX Records on GoDaddy remain intact and point to Google, I was told by a GoDaddy Agent that I have to change the MX Records in Digital Ocean to point to Google. How do I do this, and do I have to install something on the server for it work. I’m currently using Ubuntu 12.04 with LAMP…
I was able to transfer the domain succesfully the website was working great, but the problem was that my emails were not receiving anything, I have a form on my website that works with PHP linked to one of my domain emails and the form was not able to be delivered to the email, I destroyed my droplet and opened a new one installed lamp and changed the nameservers in GoDaddy in order for the emails to work again.

Open DNS page from the main navigation in the sidebar, choose your domain name and add new record of MX type.
Click to DNS…Add your domain or View domain if already added------Add record-------Click MX and click on Add Gmail MX records next to create.
