How do I create a text wrapper for the server ip when using ssh?

At my school, when we ssh into their server, it’s something like [student_id]@mills.mcmaster.ca. How do I do this with my Digital Ocean droplet (so I don’t have to pull out the server ip every time because it’s hard to remember)?

You’ll need to register a domain name via a registrar (such as Namecheap, iWantMyName, Hover, etc.) and then point it to your droplet.

Once you’ve purchased a domain name, here’s what you need to do:
