I have a Kubernates Cluster. I have an application that relies on HELM charts to deploy the itself on the cluster. But to do this I first need to give HELM permissions to this cluster. Whats the right way to do this?

Helm access depends on your kubectl access. Considering that DO currently only permits zero or cluster admin access. If you configure kubectl on your machine to work properly with your DOKS cluster, then installing and using helm from that same machine should have all the permissions it needs.
If you are hitting some sort of permissions error please share and we can continue debugging.
