How do I install PHP 5.5.11, MySQL 5.6.16 on ubuntu vps?

How would I do this when I use the lamp image that digital ocean provides my web app does not work, I found out that I need to mirror my xampp environment. How would I go about installing all these exact versions. Is there a tutorial somewhere?
