How do i point my application to use mongoDB on my droplet (Ubuntu 14)

I will like to point my pre-release site ,to use the new mongodb server… eg… <add key=“MongoConnectionName” value=“mongodb://testserver:27018” /> and I am finding it difficult with digital ocean…
