This really depends on the droplet you choose and how much traffic you get. DigitalOcean billing cycles are monthly. Your account balance accrues over the course of the calendar month based on the cost of the resources you use. You can check the following link for DigitalOcean’s priceses:
I would recommend starting with the Basic Droplet

If it’s not powerful enough you can always upgrade but better to start small and upgrade it in the process.
