How to add a sendGrid CNAME records?


SendGrid sent me e-mail on which CNAME records sohuld be addded. Adding those CNAME records will still not be visible from outside by external tools. And sendgrid service still says that there is an error: cname records does not exist.

I had the same problem, and the reason behind it is that digitalOcean automatically adds “” at the end of the Hostname.

If you copy and paste it on the Add CNAME “hostname” field, you ll get when you only should have . The solution is to copy only the part of the hostname that doesnt include the domain. Eg: “somehostname”

How much time ago did you add the records? Maybe they are not yet resolved on the DNS level. Also, how did you configure the CNAME records?
