Hello,
SendGrid sent me e-mail on which CNAME records sohuld be addded. Adding those CNAME records will still not be visible from outside by external tools. And sendgrid service still says that there is an error: cname records does not exist.
Can you help?

How much time ago did you add the records? Maybe they are not yet resolved on the DNS level. Also, how did you configure the CNAME records?

I had the same problem, and the reason behind it is that digitalOcean automatically adds “.domain.com” at the end of the Hostname.
If you copy somehostname.domain.com and paste it on the Add CNAME “hostname” field, you ll get somehostname.domain.com.domain.com when you only should have somehostname.domain.com . The solution is to copy only the part of the hostname that doesnt include the domain. Eg: “somehostname”
I’m here 2 years later with the same issue. Digital ocean cname records don’t propagate apparently. I loved DO until I realized they can’t handle basics DNS and now I have no choice but to switch to someone who understands network basics… There are dozens of these posts and all of them are ignored by DO staff.
